Say hello to Feather, a beautiful orange girl with a gentle heart and the sweetest face. Shelter life has made her a little nervous, so she preferred to stay safely in her kennel during photos — but even while scared, she absolutely melted for chin scratches and head rubs.

-Affectionate once she feels safe

-A calm companion for the right home

This lovely girl leaned right into affection, showing how much she wants connection — she just needs a patient person and a peaceful environment to help her feel secure again.

Feather may be timid in the shelter, but in a loving home, she has all the makings of a devoted, affectionate companion.
