Meet Gibbs, head detective at his foster home! ‍

Gibbs and his cohort DiNozzo spend their days sniffing, snooping, dashing, swooping, investigating suspicious noises, examining interesting smells, and generally keeping tabs on everything that may—or may not—be their business. We won't say they go looking for trouble. We will say they are full of curiosity, fun, and Beagle!

Gibbs is a classic tri-color Beagle, just one year old and 25 pounds. He is spectacularly handsome, sweet as can be, loves to play, and considers petting an excellent use of everyone's time.

He's learning to walk on a leash, although Gibbs believes in conducting a thorough threat assessment before proceeding. He may occasionally stall until he's absolutely certain everything is safe. Once the investigation is complete, however... onward!

Crate training and potty training are also in progress and going well. Other dogs? Absolutely. Gibbs loves playing with his canine friends! Kids and cats remain unsolved cases, as he has no known experience with either.

And, of course, prospective adopters will be expected to follow Gibbs' Beagle Rules:

Rule #1: Offer toys.
Rule #2: Always work as a team.
Rule #3: When in doubt, sniff it.
Rule #4: You don't waste good treats.

Gibbs is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative.

Gibbs is fostered in southeast Nebraska—about equal distance from Omaha, Lincoln, and St. Joseph. His foster is willing to travel to meet up with his potential forever family.
