Hi, I am Milky Way! I am a 2-year-old, 22-pound Beagle/Terrier mix and I am just about as sweet as my name. I am a happy, affectionate girl with a really nice balance of playful and calm. I enjoy having fun and being part of whatever is going on, but I also know how to settle down when it is time to relax. I am dog friendly and would be happy to have a canine buddy in my new home, or I could soak up all the attention as your one and only.

I am kennel trained and I walk well on a leash, so I already have some great manners under my belt. I am the kind of girl who could be up for a walk or an adventure with you, then happily curl up nearby when the day winds down. My rescue friends even describe my distinguishing feature as simply being the “best pup ever,” which tells you a little bit about just how lovable I am. I can also be cat tested upon request.

I am looking for a family who wants a sweet, easygoing companion to make part of their everyday life. At just 2 years old, I have so many years of love, walks, couch time and adventures ahead of me and I would really love to spend them with a family of my own. I am heartworm negative and will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Now I just need someone to look at me and decide I am the missing piece they have been waiting for.
