Peanuckle - Hound and Pointer Dog for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I am Peanuckle, and I am 14 weeks old now. I am still waiting for someone to choose me.

I am a 15-pound Hound/Pointer mix, and for some reason I keep getting overlooked. I watch other puppies find their families while I keep waiting for mine. Maybe I am not the puppy who catches your eye first in a photo. Maybe my markings are not as flashy and my face is not the one that gets all the attention. But I really hope someone will stop long enough to look a little closer, because I am one of the sweetest puppies you could ever meet. I’m being fostered near Flint, Michigan.

I am curious, gentle, playful and full of love. I want to investigate every new smell, play with every toy and learn everything you want to teach me. Then, when the playing is over, I just want to curl up near my people and know that I finally belong somewhere. I do not need to be the prettiest puppy in the room. I just want to be somebody’s favorite.

I am getting a little older while I wait, and I hope my person finds me soon. I have my whole life ahead of me. Someday I could be the dog sleeping beside you on the couch, greeting you at the door and following you from room to room because being with you is my favorite place to be. And someday, when you look back at these puppy pictures, maybe you will wonder how anyone ever passed me by.

I will come fully vetted for my age, neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. I am ready for my forever family.

Please do not overlook the ordinary-looking puppy.

Sometimes the one nobody notices becomes the dog nobody could ever replace.
