This sweet 5 year old 19 pound Beagle boy is on the chiller side and enjoys spending his days at a slower pace. Jacob came from a difficult hoarding situation, and he's learning what it feels like to experience the simple comforts of having people he can trust.

Jacob enjoys being around his siblings and is happiest when he has company. He also loves spending time with his people and would be perfectly content hanging out nearby and enjoying some quality time together.

He's still learning how a leash works and walks okay while he continues to practice. Jacob is good with kids and other dogs, making him a gentle companion who enjoys having friends around.

Jacob doesn't need a busy schedule or constant excitement. He just wants a safe place to relax, a family willing to be patient with him and someone who will let him discover all the good things life has to offer.

All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
