Costco Hot Dog - Basset Hound and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Brunswick, Georgia

Costco Hot Dog is another puppy transferred from a private rescue pulling from animal control facilities. Yes, it is an unusual name, but like her namesake, we believe Costco Hot Dog will be known for quality, value and consistency. She is a short 30 pound "Basset Hound" mix. Her body conformation says she enjoys the occasional hot dog herself. Costco has lots of playful, fun energy. She is good with other dogs and walks surprisingly well on leash. Come and meet Costco Hot Dog and see for yourself the appeal of this pretty girl. She is available for a meet and greet with you 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Costco Hot Dog is spayed, microchipped and has started on core vaccines. If you are looking for love, you won't find a better deal than this.

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
