Georgia - Boxer and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Brunswick, Georgia

This Georgia girl was found by someone passing through Savannah on their way to Florida. Because she was found in Downtown Savannah, we contacted all the rescues groups in Savannah and the Savannah Humane Society. Sadly, no one came forward. Georgia is a super smart girl. It is clear someone spent a lot of time with her. She knows sit, stay, and is very willing to please. If Georgia isn't already housebroken, we believe it would be easy peasy to train her. Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment or just come in and visit. We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Georgia is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
