Pete - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Brunswick, Georgia

Peter was surrendered with his siblings Lucy, Susan and Edmund. If you are a Narnia fan, you will recognize the names. All were adopted, but Peter was surrendered after a year. Sadly, his family simply could not give him the time and attention he deserves. A large chunk of Peter's time was spent crated. Consequently he would still benefit from some gentle training. Peter is housebroken and obviously crate trained. He also absolutely craves and thrives on attention. He is such a good boy, though. He has done well with other dogs, but due to his size (big) we would definitely recommend a meet and greet. Peter has an abundance of joy and shows this by jumping on you, which he needs to learn is a no no. Small people especially would be pretty surprised to have a 69 pound dog greet them in this way. Come and meet Peter 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. He is neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Becoming a part of your family would be a fantastic experience for both of you. Let the games begin.

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
