Potato - Australian Shepherd and Spaniel Dog for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Potato is a stunning and sweet boy who lights up the room! He is friendly, has moderate, age appropriate energy, is fairly reserved but also playful in a respectful way with other dogs, has good manners, and has the cutest smile! Potato was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter, and we were happy to welcome this sweet boy into rescue! Potato is loving and affectionate, not a big barker, and will make a great companion and walking buddy to a lucky family! He is around around 2 years old and is around 20-25lbs.

-age appropriate energy, go with the flow personality, smart, enjoys hanging out with his foster family, and enjoys playtime in the yard with other dogs and with toys, as well as lounging and sunbathing
-great with other dogs in the home, both big and small
-likes to be around people, has a sweet energy
-potty trained in current setting
-does well in leash
-does well in gated/penned area in his fosters routine when home alone, and in his crate
-not a big barker
-enjoys treats, chew bones, and
toys. He will play with toys on his own, with people, or with other dogs, and is very good about sharing
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on his dog bed as well as playtime in the yard.. likes to explore
-will keep you smiling and laughing with his sweet personality
-does well so far on car rides to his vet appointments
-is up to date on vaccines, neutered, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and is microchipped
