Meet Jesse!

Jesse is a 3-year-old Mini Aussie who traded in farm life for the finer things—and let's just say he has acclimated to the bougie home-dog lifestyle remarkably well.

Comfy beds? Absolutely. Car rides? He's in. Leisurely walks followed by snuggles on the couch? Jesse is pretty sure this is exactly how life was always supposed to be.

Jesse is simply the sweetest guy. He loves the company of other dogs, but if he had to choose between the dogs and YOU, you're probably winning. He absolutely adores his people and lives for affection, playtime, walks, car rides, and being included in whatever his humans are doing. He's social, affectionate, and just goofy enough to keep you laughing.

In so many ways, Jesse is exactly what you hope for in a Mini Aussie. He has that wonderful combination of intelligence, charisma, sweetness, playfulness, and zest for life without being over-the-top. He's fun when it's time to have fun and perfectly happy to settle in when the day is done.

Jesse is wonderfully adaptable and could fit into just about any kind of family. Kids? Great. Seniors? Absolutely. Other dogs? He loves them. Cats? Yep! Jesse is just an all-around good boy who seems to take life—and everyone he meets—in stride.

He's also got his house manners down. Jesse is perfectly crate trained and potty trained. When he first arrives somewhere unfamiliar, he may try to mark once or twice while he's figuring out the lay of the land, but he quickly learns where he's supposed to potty. He's also no stranger to wearing a belly band when it makes life easier—hotel stays, we're looking at you.

Adoption process: After your phone screening, we can schedule a meet and greet/the start of your foster-to-adopt trial. All adoptions have a 2 week minimum foster-to-adopt trial to make sure that the pet is the right fit for your home, and vice versa. Jesse's adoption fee is $350, which would be due after the foster-to-adopt period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer to-your-door transportation and have so many happy families as references. We are very transparent about the process so feel free to ask any questions.
