If you're looking for a fun-loving, athletic, incredibly smart companion who's always ready for the next adventure, let us introduce you to Bandit! This handsome fella is full of life, loves meeting people, and a great personality.
Bandit is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets and absolutely LOVES to play! He's energetic, athletic, intelligent, and about as true to his breed as they come. This boy has places to go, things to learn, and games to play! Fetch is a favorite, and he's already learning that dropping the ball when asked is part of the fun. He's also been successfully kennel trained and has made great progress with leash walking during his time in foster care. He's showing just how much he can accomplish with consistency, structure, and positive training.
Now, let's talk about that Aussie energy! Bandit is a young working-breed dog with plenty of enthusiasm, and sometimes his idea of playing can be a little too much for other dogs. He genuinely enjoys canine friends, but his play style can be rough and rambunctious. His foster's resident dogs have been letting him know when he crosses the line, so Bandit would do best with doggy companions who can match his energy and enjoy an enthusiastic playmate. Calmer dogs who prefer a peaceful, low-key lifestyle may not appreciate his puppy antics.
Bandit is looking for an active home that understands Australian Shepherds and their need for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He needs a family who will keep his clever mind busy, give him appropriate outlets for his athletic energy, and continue helping him develop good manners. Training sessions, interactive games, adventures, and plenty of playtime will help this boy thrive. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for his new home!
His foster has spent a month getting to know him and has seen firsthand what a fun, capable, and trainable dog he can be. With the right family, Bandit has all the potential to become an incredible companion. He needs someone who appreciates his intelligence, enjoys working with an eager learner, and is ready for all the fun that comes with an active, playful pup.
