Meet Athena — a 6-year-old, 45lb Mini Aussie Mix, and hands down the most loving dog ever. 🐾

From the moment you wake up, she’s wiggling with pure joy, ready to pour her whole heart into you. Kisses, cuddles, booty scratches — connection is everything to her, and she will make you feel it every time you lay your eyes on her.

Rumor has it she was a sorority dog — and her social energy absolutely confirms it. New people, kids, other dogs — she greets everyone with the purest love and joy. She is already a NYC girl in the last few days, she has ridden the subway, hopped a ferry, and stays cool around sirens and skateboards without missing a beat. As long as there are humans around, Athena is the happiest girl in the room.


She’s easy to walk, thrives in apartments, no separation anxiety. She’s working on her jumping and shedding a little weight — so she just needs someone ready to love her into her healthiest, happiest self.
 Athena doesn’t just want a home — she wants to fill yours with love.

· Behavior when left alone or when guests visit: Chill and when strangers come she ask for pets and kisses too

🌞 Daily Life
· Typical day with you: Athena loves to be part of your day no matter what you have planned. She is done to do all things in the city and explore it all with you. The second you wake up she would wiggle her butt and give you all the love in the world for however long you wish for. She has taken ferry, subway and taxis in the city, she is also not afraid of a lot of things that other dog might be, such as loud sirens or skateboards, she is impressively well adjusted to her city life. She will bring love to everyone around her.
· Exercise needs: walk 10 mins and she would have already done her potty, on the road or side walk, very very easy dog
· Favorite activities or toys: not interested in toys, just kisses and booty scratches

· Anything they’re still working on? She was probably very loved and spoiled so she is currently overweight and would be very good for her health to lose some.
· What helps them succeed? Long walks and healthy treats
