Meet Gameboy
The Charismatic Heartbreaker with the Hollywood Smile
Gameboy is a 4–5 month old Aussie/German Shepherd mix with a fluffy short coat, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. He’s already perfected the art of winning people over—flashing his “Hollywood smile” and those irresistible puppy eyes to earn every bit of love and attention he can get. Equal parts silly and soulful, Gameboy is the kind of puppy who instantly makes a house feel like home.
Daily Routine & Lifestyle
Gameboy starts his day around 6 AM with a potty break in the yard and a small breakfast, followed by a little playtime before settling in for a long morning nap from 8 AM to noon.
After lunch, he enjoys some backyard playtime and then recharges with another afternoon nap until the evening. He happily greets his foster dad, has dinner around 9 PM, and is tucked into bed by 10 PM— sleeping soundly through the night (and even sleeping in if given the chance).
During the day, Gameboy has free roam of the house and side patio, where he’s perfectly content lounging nearby. He’s truly mastered the role of “quiet colleague,” happily napping while you work and keeping you company without demanding constant attention.
Personality: Sweet, Silly, and So Lovable
Gameboy is a social butterfly wrapped in a cuddle bug’s body. He adores people and has the sweetest way of asking permission— with those signature puppy eyes— before hopping onto the couch to snuggle. He’s affectionate without being overwhelming, and while he loves to be near his humans, he balances that with an easygoing, relaxed nature.
From day one, Gameboy has been a total gentleman. He arrived respectful, calm, and completely non-destructive—an impressive feat for such a young pup. He’s what you might call a “velcro dog,” happiest when he’s part of whatever you’re doing, but he expresses it in the most mellow, lovable way.
He’s also wonderfully playful, especially when it comes to fetch— but don’t be surprised if he follows it up with an epic nap, belly up and all four paws in the air.
Training & Skills
Gameboy is already showing off some impressive skills for his age. He knows “sit,” “high-five,” and “come,” and understands cues like “go” and “here” during playtime. He’s especially proud of his fetch game and is always eager to show it off.
He’s fully trained on potty pads and is very consistent, currently working on transitioning to outdoor potty habits. He’s also beginning crate training. Around the house, he’s nothing short of a “little angel”— he hasn’t chewed or destroyed a single item, even when tempted with things like shoes.
Like many puppies, he’s still getting used to the outside world. He’s just starting leash training and may bark at unfamiliar dogs on walks, but he’s friendly and welcoming with anyone who enters the home.
Social Life
Gameboy has spent time with his siblings and absolutely loved the companionship. He’s a gentle, easygoing playmate who tends to be more of a “follower,” often letting others take the lead (and even win during play). His kind, social nature suggests he would do wonderfully in a home with another dog, though he’d also be happy as your one-and-only as long as he has plenty of companionship.
At Home Habits
Gameboy is as low-maintenance as a puppy can be. He doesn’t chew out of boredom, only teething appropriately on his toys. He doesn’t dig in the yard, and he rarely barks—only occasionally at night if he hears an unfamiliar noise, and he settles quickly once reassured.
He’s also a bit of a character: sometimes he’s so relaxed he’ll eat his kibble while lying down, truly committed to conserving his energy for life’s most important activities—like cuddling and playing.
Why You’ll Love Him
Gameboy isn’t just cute—he’s the full package. He’s calm, cuddly, playful when it counts, and impressively well-behaved for his age. Whether he’s snoozing belly-up, quietly keeping you company during the workday, or charming you with his goofy grin, he has a way of making every moment a little brighter.
If you’re ready to fall for a puppy with a heart of gold and a smile worthy of the big screen, Gameboy is ready to meet you.
