Hercules was transferred in from another rescue and is now ready to find a committed, experienced home that can help him thrive!

PERSONALITY:
- Friendly, goofy, and full of playful energy!
- LOVES praise and attention
- Very food motivated - eager to learn with the right guidance
- Enjoys toys of all kinds, especially balls and stuffies (though he can get a bit possessive)
- Knows how to sit and wait for a toy throw - smart boy!
- Big personality with lots of enthusiasm for life
- Can be a bit touch-sensitive at first, but warms up with trust
- Is not housetrained, will need to work on this
- Gets excited easily - zoomies, jumping, and big energy bursts are all part of his charm!

WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS HERCULES LOOKING FOR?
- A home with experienced, confident handlers familiar with large, strong breeds
- Adults or older teens (16+) who understand and can manage his size and strength
- A home where his size and energy can be safely accommodated (no apartments/condos)
- A fenced yard
- No other dogs due to his size and management needs
- Dog-savvy cats may be possible, with very careful management
- A home committed to ongoing training, structure, and socialization
- Someone patient and consistent who can help him build manners, impulse control, and confidence
