Australian Shepherd and Corgi Dogs Available for Adoption in Palo Alto, California

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Meet Glo Worm: The Short-Legged Adventure Buddy with a Big Personality

Glo Worm is a 4–5 month old Aussie mix with the cutest short, stubby little legs that give him an adorable Corgi-like look. With his fluffy soft coat, clumsy puppy antics, and endlessly sweet personality, Glo Worm is basically equal parts cuddle buddy, entertainer, and fetch enthusiast. He’s a typical happy-go-lucky puppy in all the best ways—loving, playful, curious, and just the right amount of chaotic.

Daily Routine & Lifestyle

Glo Worm starts his mornings around 7 AM with a potty break outside, followed by a leisurely breakfast (this boy likes to take his time with meals). Once breakfast is done, it’s game on.

His days are packed with playtime, toy time, wrestling sessions, and zoomies all the way until about 6 PM. After dinner, he starts winding down and happily transitions into cuddle mode, lounging on the couch with his people before bedtime.

At night, Glo sleeps well in his crate all by himself and settles in nicely for a full night of rest.

Personality: Sweet, Playful, and Endlessly Entertaining

Glo Worm is everything people love about puppies wrapped into one fluffy little package. He’s affectionate, rambunctious, goofy, and wonderfully clumsy, with a sweet temperament that makes him easy to love.

He enjoys being around people and loves feeling included in the household action, but he’s also making great progress learning how to be alone and independent. He has a naturally easygoing, people-pleasing personality and is eager to connect with his humans.

And when it’s time to relax? Glo is all about cuddles. He loves curling up on the couch and soaking up affection, making him just as much of a snuggle buddy as he is a playmate.

Play Style & Energy

Glo Worm is equally happy playing hard or chilling hard. During the day, he’s full of puppy energy and loves chew toys, tug-of-war, and especially fetch. In fact, fetch might just be his greatest talent. Watching him happily race after a toy and proudly bring it back is guaranteed entertainment—and clearly one of his favorite things in the world.

He’s playful without being over-the-top and does a great job balancing activity with downtime.

Dog, Cat & Social Skills

Glo currently lives with a big dog that he absolutely adores and clearly views as his personal role model. The two play beautifully together, enjoying gentle wrestling matches and tug-of-war sessions. Glo seems to thrive with canine companionship and would likely love having another dog in his future home.

He’s also curious about cats. Right now, his main strategy is standing nearby and barking at them, more fascinated than anything else. With continued guidance and exposure, he’ll likely keep learning appropriate cat manners.

He can be a little vocal with new people or unfamiliar sounds, barking when something surprises him, but this is very normal puppy behavior as he learns about the world.

Training & House Manners

Glo Worm is well on his way to becoming a polished little gentleman. He sleeps well in his crate overnight and is getting more comfortable spending time alone. He loves to chew, as puppies do, but is generally very good about sticking to his toys. (Though fair warning: fingers may occasionally look like chew toys too.)

He’s food motivated, eager to please, and naturally sweet-natured, which should make training a fun and rewarding experience.
