Meet sweet Jackson! At a year and a half old, 47 lbs, and guessed to be a Kelpie mix, this boy is just as full of love as he is energy!
Jackson is a high-energy guy who loves being part of your daily routine. Whether it’s playing outside, going for walks, riding in the car, or simply hanging out by your side while you watch TV, he’s happy as long as he gets to be involved!
True to his herding breed roots, Jackson loves to chase and play with the other dogs in his foster home. He’ll pounce around, trying to get everyone involved, and if the other dogs aren’t interested, he’ll flop down in front of them and start chomping the air like he’s saying, “Come on, guys! Play with me!” His natural instincts tell him that cats are meant to be chased, so a cat-free home would be best for this boy.
When he’s not busy looking for his next adventure, Jackson has plenty of sweetness to share. He rides well in the car, gives the gentlest nose boops and sweetest kisses, and has a lovely balance of independence and affection. He’s happy to sniff around the yard and do his own thing, but he’s just as content to be right in the middle of whatever you’re doing.
