Thor came to rescue in heartbreaking shape. He was emaciated, suffering from mange and hair loss, with severely overgrown nails. But despite everything he had been through, this boy has been nothing but gentle and sweet from day one.
In just one month, Thor has made incredible progress! He now weighs 111 lbs, with more weight still to gain, and so much of his beautiful coat has already grown back. Hair regrowth is a long process, but look at those soft eyes. There is so much love behind them, and Thor is finally ready to find a family of his own.
Thor is estimated to be around 2 years old, and he is a BIG boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves affection, cuddles, and being close to his people. He has been wonderful with everyone he has met, including adults, children, big and small dogs, and even cats. He listens well, does great in his crate, and has been such an easygoing, loving guy throughout his recovery.
Thor is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on his vaccines. He has come so far in such a short time, and we cannot wait to see what the next chapter holds for him.
