Sammy - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Newport, Washington

Sammy! This boy loves his toys. He is ready to play and ready for adventure. Sammy is about 6 months old. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is crate trained and will go to his crate when told. He is used to sleeping and eating in his crate.

Sammy is house trained. He gets along well with other dogs but has not met any cats. Sammy is reserved with people he doesn't know but will be friends with anyone given a little time. He is active and super smart. His ideal home will be with someone who is active and wants to have a canine companion at their side most always. Sammy will enjoy going out and about on adventures, but he can also chill, just hanging out and watching tv in the evening. Sammy learns so quickly that we think he would be a candidate for dog sports or even just learning some fun tricks.

Sammy is currently in a foster home in Oklahoma but can easily be transported to an adopter or a foster home.
