DESCRIPTION
MEET FLUKE — PART FOX, PART BUNNY, 100% GOOD BOY
Okay, technically hes a dog... but we have questions.
He looks like a little fox.
He hops around like a bunny.
And when the zoomies hit, those floppy ears are just along for the ride.
Fluke is one of those hidden gem dogs who is soft-hearted, curious, bouncy, food-motivated and just plain FUN. Hes spry, silly and has the sweetest little personality once he settles in.
And this boy LOVES kids.
Fluke is still figuring out the whole living in a house thing, and there is one thing he would officially like removed from his contract:
Overnight kenneling.
Hes working on kennel training, but sleeping in one is currently a hard pass. Even after going potty before bed, he tends to have an accident in his kennel within the first few hours.
BUT.... heres the interesting part:
When hes baby-gated in his fosters mudroom with access to the fenced backyard through a doggie door, he keeps his space clean and takes himself outside.
So Fluke isnt trying to be naughty. Hes showing us what setup works best for him while he continues learning.
Hes quirky. Hes adorable. Hes got ears that bounce, a tail that curls, and enough personality packed into that fox-looking body to keep you smiling.
Basically...
3-6 years old - old enough to know, young enough to learn.
Smiling is his favorite.
Powered by zoomies.
Loves kids.
Will absolutely work for snacks.
Certified hidden gem.
Fluke is ready to bounce his way into a forever family.
Please SHARE and help this sweet little fox-bunny-dog find his people!
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
