Cupid is a handsome older gentleman who has lived a very hard life.
For over a year, we helped his owner who was experiencing homelessness — manage his painful skin issues and provide medical care so they could stay together. Eventually, the time came when she could no longer care for him, and we stepped in to take over his care.
Sadly, Cupid ended up in boarding.
Boarding is no place for an older dog to spend his golden years... especially one battling chronic skin issues that already leave him uncomfortable enough. What Cupid truly deserves is a soft couch, gentle hands, and a family to finally call his own.
Cupid does well with other calmer dogs, but he does resource guard, so we believe he would be happiest as the king of his castle where he never has to compete for attention, affection, or comfort.
And honestly? Once you meet him, you wont want to share him anyway.
His puppy dog eyes melt hearts instantly, and his sweet, snuggly personality makes people fall in love fast. Hes the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his person and enjoy the simple things in life.
