We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Meet Billy, a handsome 3 year old Staffy mix with a heart full of love and a goofy personality that will keep you smiling. He's an affectionate, cuddly boy who loves spending time with his people, happily greeting new friends, relaxing in the car, or matching whatever pace the day brings. Whether it's a quiet evening on the couch or an outdoor adventure, Billy is happy to be by your side.

Billy has a moderate energy level and walks beautifully on leash, calmly passing other dogs without pulling or reacting. While he isn't much of a toy enthusiast, he loves to play and does a great job reading when another dog has had enough fun.

Billy is dog selective, so finding the right canine companion is important. He is looking for a home with no small dogs and will need very slow, calm, and controlled introductions to any new dog. An experienced, patient owner who is committed to continuing his socialization and training will help him thrive. He would do best in a home without cats and preferably without young children, though older, dog-savvy kids (10+) could be a great match.

At home, Billy is fully kennel trained and settles into his crate with ease when left alone. He should not free roam while unsupervised and will need to be fed separately to prevent resource guarding around food and treats.

Billy is a sweet, funny, and loyal companion who's ready to find the family he's been waiting for. With the right home, a little patience, and lots of love, he'll reward you with endless affection and a best friend for life.
