We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. Meet Lucy. She has a fun, playful personality balanced with a moderate energy level, making her equally happy going for a walk or relaxing at home with her family.

She gets along well with other dogs and has shown friendly manners when meeting them. Whether she's playing with canine friends or spotting another dog on a walk, she greets them with a wagging tail instead of making a big fuss. She enjoys playtime but also does a good job respecting other dogs' boundaries when they're ready to move on.

One of her best qualities is how much she enjoys people. She loves attention, enjoys being close to her humans, and is always happy to make a new friend. Her enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of her so she'll benefit from continued work on her manners, but her friendly nature shines through wherever she goes.
She enjoys toys, rides well in the car, handles stairs with ease, and settles nicely in a crate. She's the type of dog who wants to be included in everyday life, whether that's joining you for a neighborhood walk, hanging out while you work, or relaxing together at the end of the day.

Like many young or newly rescued dogs, she's still learning the routines of home life. She already knows "sit" and is making progress with potty training, but she'll benefit from continued consistency and positive reinforcement as she learns basic commands and settles into a regular routine. She's shown that she wants to please and responds well to patience and structure.

Her ideal home is one where she'll get plenty of attention, regular walks, and someone who enjoys helping a dog continue to learn and grow. She's a sweet, affectionate girl with a lot to offer and is ready to find a family to call her own.
