Delilah *Arriving 8/22/2026* D12141 - American Staffordshire Terrier and Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption

Meet Delilah, a sweet, snuggly Texas pup who is looking for the family she can call her own.
Delilah's curious, affectionate, smart, adventurous, and energetic. She loves being part of the action and exploring the world around her, but she's also always happy to settle in for some cuddles with her people.
Delilah is currently in a busy, dog-friendly foster home with five other dogs, ranging from seniors to younger pups. She does wonderfully with everyone. She respects the older dogs, plays appropriately with the younger ones, and does a great job reading and responding to other dogs' cues. She would be a wonderful addition to a home with a friendly resident dog.
Like any puppy, Delilah is still learning. She's working on potty training, can use a doggie door, and is learning her basic manners like sit and stay. She's a smart girl who responds well to positive reinforcement, routine, and plenty of encouragement.
Delilah's forever family should understand that puppies need patience, training, and continued socialization. She's looking for someone who will give her the time, guidance, adventure, and love she needs to grow into the wonderful dog she is meant to be.

Delilah is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/22/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
