DESCRIPTION

First things first, can we talk about how incredibly GORGEOUS this gal is?! From the moment I first laid eyes on her, I immediately noticed her velvety soft chocolate coat and the way it’s complemented by the most beautiful golden honey eyes. It’s as if she were specially curated in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, but instead of getting a scrumptious chocolate bar, you’re getting Miss Lady. An affectionate, super smart, goofy, dog friendly, kid friendly, snuggly, people lover, booty scratching enthusiast furry best friend.

Miss Lady is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 53 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

One thing is certain with Miss Lady, this girly loves to love and she adores people. She is the type that will lay snuggled up on the couch with you on a lazy Sunday watching your favorite show and the type that will be your little helper while you do things around the house or in the yard. Miss Lady is the perfect example of a dog that is just happy to be with you, no matter where you are. She loves every single person that she meets and tries to give them a hug.
It’s a given this bundle of joy is absolutely adorable and such a happy gal, but she is so much more than that. She loves every person she meets and truly knows no stranger!

Connections with her are instantaneous. When people first meet her, they immediately comment on how adorable and friendly she is. The most common phrase used by everyone who meets her is something along the lines of how sweet and friendly she is. Miss Lady is such a go-with-the-flow type of girly who is happy regardless of where she is or who she is with. It’s almost impossible not to immediately fall for her friendly and goofy personality.

Miss Lady is dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced her to. She is friendly and respectful, happy to say hello with a quick sniff, and then do her own thing. She’s not really a rough-and-tumble play kind of gal, but she’s totally comfortable hanging around other dogs. Every now and then she will give an appropriate correction, almost like she’s saying, “alright now kids, that’s enough, go bother someone else” LOL, like a mother would to her own children. She is simply just happy to hang out and watch the other dogs play. Her ideal furry companion would be a gentle, easygoing dog who enjoys a good sunbathe more than a wrestling match. But she’s also totally fine being your one and only as well.

She’s the kind of girl who technically knows what to do… she just prefers to do it in her own sweet, unhurried way. Yes, she’s treat motivated (she’s no fool), but what really lights her up is love. Your attention, your praise, your gentle “good girl.” That’s her real currency. She already knows how to sit, and she’ll happily show you… just don’t expect a snappy, lightning-fast response. Everything about her is soft and slow motion, like she’s moving through life on her own cozy timeline. And honestly? It’s part of her charm. The way she carefully lowers herself into a sit like she’s handling something delicate—it’s equal parts impressive and adorable. On leash, she’s just as easygoing. She walks nicely without pulling, staying close and connected, but she’s not looking to power through miles. She’s more of a “let’s take a gentle stroll and then head back for couch time” kind of girl. A short walk, some fresh air, and then right back to what she loves most…being near her people.

She would be a great dog to take with you on walks at the park, will be your backyard patio hangout girly, and your snuggly princess at the end of the day. She also has the potential to thrive in an apartment or condo. She loves people and is a true social butterfly, so if you’re someone who enjoys hosting or having friends over for backyard BBQs, Miss Lady will happily be right in the middle of all the fun. We’re pretty sure she’ll become one of the main talking points in every conversation, too.

We are willing to test Miss Lady with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready.
