Meet Apollo! This handsome boy was surrendered to the shelter on 5/24 because his family was moving and sadly could not take him along. His former family shared that Apollo is house-trained, good with children, and gets along well with other dogs. The volunteers describe Apollo as a sweet, friendly boy who is a little shy at first, but very calm and well-mannered for his age. Shelter life can be overwhelming, so we imagine that once Apollo has time to decompress in a loving home, his playful and energetic personality will begin to shine. Apollo also knows how to sit nicely when asked, and he’s hoping to find a forever family that will give him the love and stability he deserves.
Apollo is approximately 3 years old, and weighs 48 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Apollo is waiting patiently in kennel 875; his ID # is 19269.
