Meet Sorbet — a soft, beautiful orange tabby and white Domestic Short Hair mix with the most delicate peachy cream coat and stunning green eyes that are absolutely impossible to look away from. This lovely 2-year-old girl was found as a stray on April 19th with no one to come forward for her, and she now waits quietly in Kennel #683 for someone to recognize just how truly special she is.
 
At just 2 years old Sorbet is in the absolute prime of her life — fully grown and fully herself, with so many beautiful years still ahead of her just waiting to be spent in a warm and loving home with someone to call her very own. She is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of her vaccines — a perfectly healthy young girl who simply found herself without a home through no fault of her own.
 
Sorbet came in off the streets alone with no one to speak for her, and yet here she is — soft, beautiful, and full of love just waiting to be given to the right person. How a cat this lovely ended up without a home is one of shelter life's great mysteries, but the good news is that her story is far from over and the very best chapter is still waiting to be written.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
