Do not let his name fool you — there is absolutely nothing small or insignificant about Dust Mite. This gorgeous silver and grey tabby Domestic Short Hair mix is already a magnificently impressive young cat at just 10 months old, and he is only going to get more so. This handsome boy arrived at the shelter on April 25th and has been waiting in Kennel #618 ever since for someone to look past that name and see the extraordinary cat that lies beneath it.
At 10 months old and already 12 pounds Dust Mite is a big, bold, and beautifully built young cat who is still growing into the magnificent creature he is destined to become. He is already neutered and FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of his vaccines — ready for the forever home he so deserves the moment the right person comes along.
That striking silver and grey tabby coat and those luminous golden eyes make Dust Mite one of the most visually stunning cats at the shelter — and yet here he sits, waiting for someone to see past a quirky name and recognize what an absolute treasure he truly is. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and Dust Mite by any other name would still be one of the most remarkable cats you have ever met.
If you have been looking for a young, handsome, and utterly one of a kind companion to share your life with, come meet Dust Mite in Kennel #618. Whatever you decide to call him at home is entirely up to you — he is ready for his person, and all he needs is for that person to come find him.
