Meet Luka — a handsome and substantial orange tabby Domestic Short Hair mix with warm golden eyes and a rich, vibrant coat that absolutely glows. This gorgeous 2-year-old boy arrived at the shelter on April 19th, and he has been waiting in Kennel #624 ever since for someone to come along and see just how wonderful he truly is.
 
At 2 years old and a solid 12 pounds, Luka is a big, beautiful boy in the absolute prime of his life — fully grown, fully himself, and ready to walk straight into a loving home and become someone's most devoted companion from day one. He is already neutered and FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of his vaccines — healthy and completely ready for the forever home he so deserves.
 
Orange tabby cats have a warmth and magic about them that is truly impossible to put into words, and Luka is every bit as warm and wonderful as that glowing coat suggests. He deserves sunny windowsills, a soft bed, and a person who will look at that magnificent orange coat every single day and feel like the luckiest person alive.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
