Anastasia is a very sweet Malamute mix; she doesn't pull a lot on leash but could definitely use some more training with leash walking. She is big girl! She could benefit from extra training all around, we unfortunately do not have a history on her. But she is very much Malamute; if you don't have experience with a Malamute or Husky please do your research.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
