April 23, 2024. Toast (aka Toasty Boy) is a strikingly handsome boy with soulful orange eyes, long lanky legs, and the softest, silkiest fur you’ll ever touch. Equal parts playful and affectionate, Toast is known for his signature “pretzel” pose—rolling onto his back and happily soaking up all the belly rubs he can get.

He’s a big fan of playtime, especially when it involves chasing a laser pointer or leaping after a fishing pole toy with surprising grace. When the excitement winds down, Toast turns into a world-class snuggler. He loves being close to his people whether that’s curled up beside you on the couch for a movie night or tucked in next to you while you read in bed. He also has a soft spot for cozy hiding places and can often be found snoozing in drawers or nestled into his favorite nooks. And if you give him a fluffy blanket (especially a blue one), he’ll happily settle in and make biscuits like a pro.

Toast gets along well with other cats when given proper introductions, though he may be a little vocal at first as he adjusts. With a bit of patience, he settles in just fine and enjoys feline companionship.

Toast’s journey hasn’t been the easiest. He came into our care after his previous family lost their home, and he wasn’t in the best condition at the time. It took him a little while to rebuild his appetite and learn to trust again but today, he’s truly thriving. His resilience shines through in his playful spirit and his growing love for human connection.
