Then one day, something changed. As his rescuer put out food, Coco began meowing, worked up the courage to accept some pets, and essentially announced that he was ready to give indoor life a try. He was scooped up and brought to safety, and Coco has never looked back.

In fact, there was hardly an adjustment period at all. Almost immediately, Coco was sleeping on the bed, cuddling, and acting as though he had simply been waiting for someone to realize he belonged there all along.
