Some cats make you work for it. Sparkey is not one of those cats.
From the moment you meet him, this handsome 10-year-young cat will win you over completely - and he knows it. Outgoing, affectionate, and utterly adaptable, Sparkey doesn't seem to have met a human he didn't like. In fact, he loves attention so much that he might drool a little when you pet him. Consider it a compliment.
Sparkey is a stunning bi-color tabby boy with a coat so soft and shiny it practically glows. His foster mom can't stop talking about it - and once you run your hands through it, you'll understand why. He gets more engaging and more endearing with every single day.
This boy has personality to spare. He's curious and alert, always exploring, always looking around to see what's going on. He loves height - he's the kind of cat who wants to survey his kingdom from above - so a tall cat tree would make him an absolutely happy man.
Sparkey is ready to be someone's everything. He would be an ideal companion for an older couple or a single person looking for a loyal, loving presence in their home. He's indoors only and perfectly content to make a cozy home his whole world as long as his people are in it.
If you're looking for a distinguished, affectionate companion who will remind you every single day why you love cats, Sparkey is your guy.
The adoption fee is $60
Sparkey is around 10 yrs old (we feel he's a little younger). He has been neutered and vaccinated. He is litter box trained.
We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.
When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?
All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
