Meet Carl!

Carl came from a place where there were simply too many cats and not enough care to go around. Thankfully, he and his siblings were rescued and brought into a foster home where they received the medical attention they needed and the chance to grow up safe, healthy, and loved. And just like that, Carl was off to a fresh start — and he hasn't looked back since.

With his handsome tabby coloring and easy, affectionate nature, Carl is the kind of kitten who is hard not to fall for. He settled into foster life quickly and without hesitation, which speaks to the confident, adaptable spirit that seems to come naturally to him. He's brave, curious, and adventurous — always ready to explore — but at the end of the day, what Carl loves most is simply hanging out with his people.

He's also a kitten who knows how to have a good time. Carl loves playing all kinds of games with his siblings and is just as happy finding ways to entertain himself when the mood strikes. Life is never dull with this boy around.

One important note: Carl is looking for a home that already has another young cat or kitten. Single kitten syndrome is a real thing, and Carl deserves a playmate who can match his energy and be his buddy for life. Carl would do well in a home with a cat-friendly dog, and would likely be just fine with children who know how to be gentle with animals and when to give them their space.

This sweet, adventurous boy has already survived a rough start — now he's ready to find the home he deserves.

The adoption fee is $135.

Carl was born around 4/1/26. He has been neutered and vaccinated. He is litter box trained.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
