Meet Artemis & Athena!

Artemis and Athena are an adorable pair of tabby sisters looking for a forever home together. These beautiful girls were rescued from a cat colony at a trailer park where they likely wouldn’t have survived. Thanks to a caring foster home, they’ve had the chance to grow up safe, healthy, and slowly learning to trust.

They’re still a bit shy and figuring out the world of humans, but they are making steady progress every day and will thrive with a patient, understanding family.

Artemis is the curious observer. She always wants to be nearby, watching everything you do — just not too close (yet!). She’s not quite comfortable with handling and may turn it into a playful game of “catch me if you can,” but she’s clearly interested in being part of the action and does frequent little “check-ins.” Artemis absolutely loves toys, especially toy mice and dangling doorway toys that she can “hunt” and proudly carry around like a prize. She’s an active, playful girl with strong huntress instincts, and with time and patience, she has the potential to become a close companion — on her own terms.

Athena is a bit more reserved at first but warms up a little faster — especially when food is involved! She’s very treat-motivated and has been making wonderful progress, allowing gentle pets while she’s enjoying her meals and even purring during chin scratches when she feels safe. Athena loves high perches and has claimed a hanging backpack as her personal throne. She’ll often greet her foster human with sweet little nose boops (preferably from above!) and is great at politely setting boundaries when she’s had enough. She enjoys batting around soft toy balls and track toys and is always quick to appear when treats are on offer.

Together, these sisters balance each other — Artemis brings curiosity and play, while Athena adds thoughtful sweetness and growing affection.

Artemis and Athena would do best in a quiet, cat-savvy home without small children, where their adopters understand that trust takes time. They have been fostered with a dog and would likely be okay with a calm, cat-friendly pup. Once fully settled, they may also enjoy access to a safe outdoor space.

These girls may not be instant lap cats, but for the right person, the reward of earning their trust and watching them blossom will be incredibly special.

The adoption fee is $250.

Artemis and Athena were born around 10/20/25. They have been spayed and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.
