Meet ASHER!

Asher is a handsome pale orange tabby kitten who came to the shelter as an injured stray. A veterinarian discovered that a foxtail had gone through his cheek, but he has fully recovered and is healthy and ready for adoption.

Because of what he's been going through, Asher is a little shy when meeting new people. He seems to think strangers are going to give him medicine! With a little patience, though, his sweet personality shines through. Pick him up for a cuddle, and he'll quickly start purring.

Asher will do best with a patient person or family who understands that some kittens need a little time to settle in. Once he feels safe, he's friendly, affectionate, and happy to soak up attention and loves being close to his people.

Asher is already neutered so he can go home with you right away.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
