With a face like this, how could a dog be named anything but Guido? But don't let his looks fool you. This tough guy is a lover not a fighter, in spite of obvious signs on his body that indicate he was living rough for awhile. Guido came in very undernourished, with his ribs sticking out everywhere and a number of mysterious scabs and bits of missing fur. However, the trials he faced have not dampened his enthusiasm for life and play. And belly rubs. And snacks; lots of snacks.

Guido seems to be delighted with everyone he meets, snorting and prancing with happiness at the drop of a hat. He gets along great with other dogs. And what a cutie! We love his classic cartoon bulldog shape with the big head and smoochy face tapering to a small hind end. He sports a handsome brindle coat with white trim for extra snazziness. He's even got a perfectly adorable underbite, complete with lower teefers sticking up; pretty much the total bulldog package.

We certainly enjoy walkies with friendly Guido. He's great on leash, ambling along at a pleasant pace, happily greeting whoever he encounters along the way, two-legged or four. He knows sit, though he does jump a bit for treats. We really can't fault him for that. The guy is really, really hungry, after all! He takes the treats with a gentle mouth.

With his silly good humor, friendliness, and ridiculously cute looks, Guido promises to make a loveable, super fun companion who will turn heads wherever he goes and bring loads of smiles to a lucky family.

Guido is neutered and can home with you right away.

He keeps his kennel generally tidy; though we can't make guarantees, he may be easy to house train.

We do not have information on his attitude toward cats at this time.
