Sol - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Hamilton, Ontario

****Please note all AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens****

June 20th, 2026 - Please read Sol's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think he would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch.
Sol's mother Lana was rescued back mid April . She had just given birth to 6 kittens: Lluvia, Niebla, Tormenta, Rainbow & Nube. mid April. Fast forward 10 weeks and her babies are now ready for adoption .
Sol has been flea treated, dewormed twice, received his 1st FVCRP vaccine and microchip. His booster FVCRP vaccine then rabies is the responsibility of his new owner and must be completed prior to his neuter by AVA at 4 - 5 months of age which is covered by his $275 adoption fee. Sol is a purr machine, he loves playing with his toys, & cuddling with Lluvia . It would be great if he could find a home with her if not he MUST go to a home with another age appropriate young cat or kitten to keep him company. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. It is recommended that he start out in a safe room with food, litter and toys until he adjusts to his new environment Little kittens are not appropriate for children under the age of 6.
