Please read Louis's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think he would be a good fit then go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch
May 2nd - Louis came in to our rescue a month ago - he was on a list to be surrendered due to having too many cats ( none fixed) , Before we could take him he became blocked and he went to our vet immediately. He had a bladder infection and crystals, so he went on IV, catheter and antibiotics. He did well and started to pee on his own. We then had him flea treated, dewormed, received his FVCRP and rabies vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He went to his foster home on antibiotics and urinary food. He has done well and is now up for adoption. He likes to play with his foster mom's other cats so he would do well with another cat buddy. His adoption fee is $250. Louis does need to remain on an urinary food and encouraged to drink lots of water ( fountains are great for this ) plus some canned food as well. He loves to be up on the cat condo looking out the window, play with his toys and receive pets from his foster mom. He is fine with older children as well. If he sounds like the cat for you put in an application. He is in a foster home in Burlington.
