Felix ( Elf) - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Hamilton, Ontario

May 2nd, 2026 - Poor Elf now named Felix. He had been adopted back in January 2021 and has now been returned to us due to allergies to him. He was adopted to a single man who has since married, his wife had allergies to the cat but managed with meds etc, but now she is pregnant and can't take the meds anymore and she is suffering so Felix ( his new name ) is back with us. Of course he is now overweight ( 7 Kgs ) but lower calorie diet and more activity should help that along. He is still the sweet guy that he was, loves his cat condo, toys etc. He will need a little time to adjust to yet a new surrounding but he has made himself at home in his foster home. It would be great if he could be adopted from there so he doesn't have to go to a store. He has been updated with FVCRP and rabies vaccines, flea treated and dewormed. He was already neutered and microchipped and viral tested - FIV and FeLeuk negative. His adoption fee is $250 and he is in a foster home in Oakville. He was originally rescued from HAS back end of Dec 2020. He had shown up as a stray and no one claimed in. He just loves to head butt you, purrs up a storm and is hoping to find his forever home. He was returned after 5 years - how hard is that on a cat. We hope he is adopted quickly.
