Meet Mr. Bojangles – A Gentleman Who Deserves His Happily Ever After!

Some cats are handsome, some are sweet, and then there’s Mr. Bojangles, who somehow managed to win the jackpot in both departments!

Mr. Bojangles was found at a feral cat colony in Provo, but it quickly became apparent that this gorgeous boy was anything but feral. Already neutered, microchipped, and declawed, he had clearly once belonged to someone. After tracking down his previous owner, the rescue learned a heartbreaking story of multiple homes and, ultimately, abandonment outside. Defenseless and left to fend for himself, this beautiful boy deserved so much better.

But here’s the thing about Mr. Bojangles: he hasn’t let his past steal his sweetness. He’s quite possibly the friendliest, calmest, most easygoing gentleman you’ll ever meet. He’s all about his people and would happily spend his days soaking up pets, affection, and attention. Need a little extra love in your life? Mr. Bojangles is your man! And trust us, he needs you just as much.

He’s spent his life around other cats and seems to take feline friendships in stride. He would likely do well with another friendly cat following a proper, gradual introduction, but he could also be perfectly happy as your one and only, provided he gets plenty of human companionship. Kids? We suspect he’d be just as wonderful with them as he is with adults. Dogs may be fine, too, as long as they’re respectful and don’t respect healthy boundaries.

This boy has had enough disappointments to last a lifetime. His next home needs to be his last, and we intend to be a little particular about finding the very best one. He deserves a family who understands what a treasure he is and will love him for the rest of his days.
