Charlie may be a little mysterious, but we have a feeling there’s a whole lot of personality hiding behind those cautious eyes! This handsome boy is still learning that humans can be trusted, and after a couple of weeks in foster care, he’s not quite ready for pets just yet. He’s a guy who prefers to admire you from a safe distance while he figures you out.

But don’t mistake shy for boring! Charlie has a mischievous side, too. He’s curious, energetic, and always keeping an eye on what’s happening around him. He just needs a little extra time and space before he’s ready to let you into his inner circle.

Charlie’s dream home is a quiet, predictable place with a patient person who understands that trust can’t be rushed. He’ll need someone who can celebrate the little victories, respect his boundaries, and let him decide when he’s ready for the next step. A friendly feline buddy would be a huge plus, too!

Charlie might not be the kitten who jumps straight into your lap, but earning the trust of a shy kitty is a special kind of adventure.
