Meet Howard — Your Personal Feline Shadow!

If you’ve ever wished you had a tiny, furry supervisor who follows you from room to room, keeps tabs on your every move, and reminds you regularly that you *should* be petting him, Howard is your guy!

At 2 years old, Howard is an incredibly sweet, chatty boy who believes the best place to be is wherever his favorite humans happen to be. He’ll happily follow you around to supervise your daily activities, make sure you’re staying safe, and provide frequent reminders that he is, in fact, available for cuddles. His favorite hobbies include being petted, soaking up attention, curling up in a lap, and purring his little heart out.

Howard may take a little time to warm up to new people and places, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate, social personality shines. He’s curious and independent enough to do his own thing when he wants to, but he’ll never turn down an opportunity for quality time with his people. Expect plenty of adorable conversations, enthusiastic purrs, and a very devoted little companion!

He gets along just fine with other cats and calm dogs, although he’s not particularly interested in making them his best friends. Howard's heart belongs to his humans! He tends to do best with other male cats, but he could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only feline companion.

We haven’t seen Howard around children, but given how much he loves attention, we suspect he’d appreciate a family that has plenty of love to give and understands that every kitty needs time to settle in.

Howard’s dream home? A place where he can feel safe, follow his people around like a tiny bodyguard, and receive absolutely ridiculous amounts of affection. If you’re looking for a cuddly, chatty, loving companion who will make sure you’re never alone—even when you’re just trying to go to the bathroom—Howard might be your perfect match!
