Estimated to be 1-2 years old, this brave girl was found as a stray suffering from a serious tail injury. She received the medical care she needed, including a partial tail amputation, and is healing wonderfully. Her shorter tail only adds to her unique charm, and it has not slowed her down one bit.

Opossum has already proven she is a fighter, and she is now starting to come out of her shell in her foster home. She is super lovable and absolutely loves getting pets. While she is not much of a cuddler just yet, she is always happy to soak up some affection.

She has also discovered that the stairs are her favorite safe spot. Opossum can still be a little scared at times, but she is slowly gaining confidence and showing more of her sweet personality every day.
