Gatewood has spent much of his young life waiting. He had been living in a shelter since February, watching the days and months pass by without finding his way home. When we learned about him, we knew this sweet boy deserved a change of scenery, so we pulled him into rescue and promised him that his next stop would be something better.

At only a year old, Gatewood has so much life ahead of him. After spending months in a shelter environment, he's now getting the opportunity to decompress, experience the comforts of home, and let his personality truly shine. No young cat should have to spend so much of his first year waiting behind shelter doors.

Now it's Gatewood's turn to be chosen. He's ready to trade shelter life for sunny windows, cozy beds, toys, attention, and a family who will make sure he never has to wonder where he belongs again.
