Meet NIPPET & MOOKIE — a bonded pair with a story of survival, resilience, and endless love. ❤️

These two were found abandoned in a woodpile during the dead of winter, fighting to survive against impossible odds. Their mother sadly perished, along with two of their siblings.

Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan stepped in and gave NIPPET and MOOKIE the chance they deserved. Since then, they’ve been safe, loved, and well cared for—and now they’re ready to find a forever home together.

Before they were rescued, both kittens suffered damage to their eyes due to being left outside in harsh conditions.

✨ NIPPET has one “good” eye and limited vision in the other.
✨ MOOKIE has limited vision in one eye and likely no vision in the other.

And yet… you would never know it from their spirits.

These kittens are pure sunshine. They are affectionate beyond words—truly therapy-level sweet. Their favorite place in the world is right beside their humans, soaking up love and returning it tenfold. Whether you’re having a good day or a hard one, NIPPET and MOOKIE will be there as your tiny, purring support system.

After everything they’ve endured, they deserve a family who will cherish them exactly as they are. They are completely bonded, and MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER!

There will be a lot of demand for NIPPET and MOOKIE. They will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!

Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.

All of our cats and kittens are rescues and seek loving homes.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.

We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.

Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
