SPECIFICS
Purebred Persian, Torbi, yellowish-green eyes, 8 years-old, spayed female, 6.5 lbs., with claws.
Cat friendly: yes, with another passive and sweet cat.
Dog friendly: possibly with a *small* dog that would ignore her and appropriate introductions
Kid friendly: 13 yrs+, cat savvy and respectful

GETTING TO KNOW ME
Who is looking for a bread making assistant? Kissa is a gorgeous, sweet and demure little girl. She so wants to hang in your lap all day long and purr and purr and make lovely biscuits by the dozens. This girl lives to snuggle.
Kissa is as beautiful as the day is long. Currently groomed into a lion cut, the next few months will slowly reveal her outstanding colors. It is easy to see the hints of red, black and brown peeking through already.
Kissa does not have a lot of confidence and will typically hide if someone approaches quickly or towers over her. BUT sit down and the snuggle bunny runs to be up and on your lap. Her new family needs to offer Kissa time, patience and respect to acclimate.
Kissa is typically quiet, but it does not stop her from playing with a wand toy or scurrying over to participate in mealtime. She does fine with non-dominant cats and would be okay as an only if she wasn't spending too much time alone. Kissa could be easily bullied so no boisterous feline siblings for her. A dog that would ignore her would be fine. She enjoys taking in the sun’s rays at the top of the cat tree or curling up in a squishy bed.
Kissa is perfect using her large, uncovered litter box filled with unscented PetsMart grass seed, clumping litter and enjoys 4Health Pate but would transition easily to another pate.
She can hardly wait for a family to call her own. Are you ready to show Kissa some love?
TRANSITION TIPS
Kissa will absolutely need to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new people and other pets, and she will let you know when she's ready to explore more of the home. Please research bringing home a new cat & proper cat introductions. YouTube has many great Jackson Galaxy videos to help with introductions.
CARE REQUIREMENTS
*Feeding & water: 4Health Pate and a ceramic water fountain
*Litter: Open-style box with unscented PetSmart unscented, clumping Grass Seed Litter (one box per cat, plus one extra).
*Grooming: Daily eye maintenance with Eye Envy and combing once a week with a monthly nail trim.
She is currently growing out from a lion-cut. She has no teeth.
VETTING PROVIDED
Exam, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, stenotic Nares(for better breathing), and is microchipped. Medical Records are supplied at adoption completion.
LOCATION AND ADOPTION
Fostered in Valparaiso, Indiana (45 min from Chicago and SW Michigan, 2 hours from Wisconsin, Iowa & Ohio).
Adoption fee is $300.00
PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats. We welcome long-distance adopters. Adopters must travel to the foster home or nearest airport to the foster home (at the discretion of the foster parent). Pickup must be within two weeks of approved adoption. When meeting at an airport, a $50 donation to cover gas, tolls, and parking will be required.
