Floatie - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Meet Floatie! This sweet little brown tabby kitten is ready to drift right into your heart! This adorable girl is as charming as her name, floating through life with curiosity, playfulness, and plenty of purrs. Floatie loves chasing toys, exploring every corner of her world, and then curling up for a cozy nap in a warm lap.

Friendly and affectionate, she enjoys making new friends-both human and feline-and is always happy to accept gentle pets and attention. With her beautiful tabby markings and lovable personality, Floatie is the perfect combination of fun and cuddly.

Floatie came to us with her siblings from a partner in Chicago and shortly after coming into our care, she required ongoing treatment for an eye infection. After being seen by our vets, seeing an eye care specialist and trying multiple kinds of eye meds which she was not responding to, we made the decision to remove her right eye. This girl is a CHAMP and has recovered beautifully! She is still the same special Floatie who is ready to meet you!

Floatie is spayed and up-to-date on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.

She is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet her! No appointment necessary.
