Danny - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

## Meet Danny!

**Age:** ~1-2 years | **Gender:** Male | **Personality:** Gentle, shy, sweet, quiet observer

### Bio

Looking for a soft, quiet soul to add warmth to your home? Meet **Danny**!

Danny is a handsome grey-and-white boy with a tender heart and a gentle disposition. While new environments and sudden noises can make him feel a bit tentative at first, his sweet nature shines through the moment he feels safe.

He isn't the type to demand center stage right away; instead, Danny prefers to observe from a cozy, elevated spot until he knows the coast is clear. Once he gets comfortable, he rewards your patience in the sweetest ways-leaning into soft cheek scratches, making slow-blink eyes across the room, and activating his quiet, rhythmic purr.

### Ideal Home

* **Environment:** A quiet, low-traffic home where he can blossom at his own pace. He would thrive best in an environment without small children or loud, unpredictable activity.
* **Family & Companions:** Danny would do wonderfully with a patient adopter who understands that love takes a little time. A confident, friendly resident cat could also help show him the ropes and build his confidence!
* **Settling In:** Danny will do best starting off in a small "safe room" (like a quiet bedroom or office) with all his essentials while he gets used to his new surroundings.
