Lola - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Lola MUST have a cat friend worthy of her constant play and cuddling. Her sister Ivy is a great choice, but Lola is a social little sparkler who can easily befriend a nice kitty willing to be her playmate.

Ruca and Zaria, a mother and daughter duo, were caught and put into AVA's foster care system and birthed altogether 12 kittens on the same night and in the same birthing box. It was nature's miracle that all the kittens survived the chaos and thrived in the care of loving, patient foster parents. Myles, Lexis, Shiloh, Ethan, Ricky, Hendry and Bron are the boys. Jacy, Lola, Bayley Lyra, and Ivy are the girls.

Little Lola has had a rough start! After having some trouble gaining weight — she fell behind her other siblings — it's hard to find someone to play with when you're so small and they're so big! But this fierce little jumping bean never wavered in her determination to catch up, and with a close eye from her foster parents and veterinary care, Lola finally started to bulk up. She may always be small, but dainty is not her style! This resilient and tenacious little grey bean is a force to be reckoned with!

Lola thrills to butt scratches and loves to nuzzle you while purring as loud as a motorcycle, but she's still gaining confidence when being picked up — it's scary being up so high when you're so tiny!

Lola would do best with her sister Ivy, another kitten her size and temperament, or a larger cat friend that is gentle and protective. Lola is a fiercely sweet and brave little cat seeking adventures and cuddles. Could that be with you?

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
