**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
***Holiday needs the protective presence of big brother Horton, and they must stay together when they journey to their new home,
The lone girl in a trio of gentle and shy black mini panthers, Holiday is the sweetest of them all once Horton has given her the green light to safely engage with the humans. She became the proverbial little shadow trailing after her person and needing the reassuring pets offered. She will purr into a good head scratch and even give you her belly when trust is fully gained. If you are lying in bed, Holiday will avail herself to your chest so she can be as close as possible to purr into a stroking hand and warm body. Holly is the best body pillow ever!
Highly food and treat motivated, Holiday can be easily coaxed with Churus and wet food offerings. She enjoys a good crinkle ball and loves playing with her siblings any chance she gets. Her bond with Horton is obvious and heartwarming, as she looks to him for reassurance and guidance. Horton is her north star and the two must remain in each other’s orbit.
Needing mini-panthers to complete your little kingdom? Look no more! Holiday and Horton (and maybe Herbie too?!) can make that a reality, and your world will be complete.
Would you like to make Holiday and Horton a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
